Mr Bechis has extensive experience in international finance and international capital markets with 25 years’ experience.
Mr. Luca Bechis is the Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer, and Advisor at Richmond Partners Master Ltd. He previously served as its Director and founded the firm in 2004. Luca served as a Partner at Egerton Capital Limited from 1997 to 2004 and as a senior analyst at Cazenove & Co in London from 1991 to 1997. Mr. Bechis currently serves as a director of HAMC, a Mozambican company mining Tantalum and exploring for lithium. He was an Independent Director at Novo Resources Corp. from November 2014 until October 2017.

As part of Speciality Metals Trading (SMT), he oversees the company’s global sales operations and customer relations.
Speciality Metals Trading (SMT) is a company which handles several different metals and minerals from around the world. SMT is a separate entity from the mine and enjoys the exclusive sales and distribution rights for the Namekara vermiculite ore deposit. SMT head office is in Mauritius, which is complemented by several satellite offices around the world, managing the logistics from the Namekara mine to customers from its office in Mombasa, ensuring customer orders are delivered in a timely manner.
Richard’s leadership ensures that every shipment from Namekara reaches customers efficiently and meets SMT’s high standards of quality and reliability.
